Randall Frykberg joined Clendening, Johnson & Bohrer as the culmination of two decades spent counseling and representing clients through all aspects of the litigation process. Randy represents corporate clients, individuals, and employers, advising them on avoiding legal disputes and, when litigation is the sole option, zealously representing them in state and federal courts.  His practice focuses on commercial matters, insurance defense, criminal and family law.

After graduating law school with high distinction, Randy spent eight years litigating on behalf of Fortune 100 clients for the international law firm of Dorsey & Whitney in Minneapolis. As a trial specialist, he regularly represented clients in construction disputes, employment litigation, complex commercial matters, and civil rights cases. He also developed his expertise in criminal law, prosecuting cases for the city of Minneapolis.

Randy returned to Bloomington in 2009 as the Director of Student Legal Services at Indiana University. While at IU, Randy oversaw the law office responsible for representing the IU student body, and he regularly advocated for IU students in disputes arising under landlord-tenant law, commercial law, and employment law. Randy also instructed second and third-year law students in all aspects of trial practice, legal writing, and litigation skills.

Randy is a Phi Beta Kappa, Truman Scholar, and honors graduate of Indiana University in Bloomington.  He earned his Juris Doctor with high distinction from the University of Iowa.
